Dr Jinwei Zhang is a Principal Investigator at the University of Exeter Medical School, UK; Professor at Xiamen University China, and visiting Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine. His laboratory studies ion channels, transporters, and signalling pathways that associated with human diseases, for examples,epilepsy, stroke that regulated by WNK-SPAK/OSR1-KCC2/NKCC1, hypertension that regulated by WNK-SPAK/OSR1-NCC, and concern with elucidating and targeting ion transporters, kinases, protein-protein interactions using genetic mouse models, small molecules, CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technologies, and electrophysiology to aid discovery and validation of new potential drug targets. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in cellular chloride homeostasis and cell volume regulation and drug discovery. He has published more than 80 articles in journals including Cell, Nature Medicine, Cell Metabolism, Neuron, Nature Communications, EMBO molecular medicine, Science Signalling, Human Molecular Genetics etc. and has achieved more than 3100 citations, H-index=30, i10-index=44. He is an Associate Editor for the Frontiers in Pharmacology,Frontiers in Microbiology,and Frontiers in Physiology, Editor in Chief for theJournal of Modern Biology and Drug Discovery,Journal of Pharmacogenomics & Pharmacoproteomics. He is currently a member of the editorial boards of 40 scientific journals, as well as a reviewer for more than 50 scientific journals, and completed reviewing >100 manuscripts.

Brandon Lucke-Wold was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. He graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Neuroscience and distinction in honors from Baylor University. He completed his MD/PhD, Master’s in Clinical and Translational Research, and the Global Health Track at West Virginia University School of Medicine. His research focus was on traumatic brain injury, neurosurgical simulation, and stroke. At West Virginia University, he also served as a health coach for the Diabetes Prevention and Management program in Morgantown and Charleston, WV, which significantly improved health outcomes for participants. In addition to his research and public health projects, he is a co-founder of the biotechnology company Wright-Wold Scientific, the pharmaceutical company CTE cure, and wasa science advocate on Capitol Hill through the Washington Fellow’s program. He has also served as president of the WVU chapters for the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, Neurosurgery Interest group, and Erlenmeyer Initiative Entrepreneur group. In addition, he has served as vice president for the graduate student neuroscience interest group, Nu Rho Psi Honor Society, and medical students for global health.He was an active member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He is currently amember of the UF House Staff Council, Positive Culture Committee, Quality Improvement Committee, Board of Directors Alachua County Medical Society, and Accreditation Requirements Review Committee.He is married to Noelle Lucke-Wold and has two children. As a family, they enjoy running with their dogs, rock climbing, and traveling. In his spare time, Brandon frequently runs half marathons and 10ks together with is wife. Brandon also enjoys reading, playing piano, discussing philosophy, and playing chess. He is currently a Pgy5 neurosurgery resident at University of Florida with pursuing endovascular enfolded training and was awarded the Dempsey Cerebrovascular Research Fellowship.

Alan Wang is a principal investigator and Associate Professor at The University of Auckland. He has more than ten years of research experience in bioengineering informatics and integrated medicine, especially in advancing the role of medical informatics in health care. His research interests include bioengineering, data informatics, neurocomputing, and biomedical statistics and simulation. He has developed medical data analytics methods for mobile health and personalized diagnosis and prognosis based on intelligent computing theories. He has experience analyzing huge cohorts of patient data with applications of early diagnosis, disease understanding, and effective treatment of patients with different disorders. He serves as an Editorial Board Member and an Active Reviewer for several international journals.

My research background and interests revolve around the interplay between mechanical forces and cellular behavior in various biological contexts. Specifically, I have focused on investigating the role of mechano transduction in controlling fundamental cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and cell death, both during normal development and in the context of diseases such as cancer.

Allow me to tell you more about my background. I am a graduate of AWF Poznan University and an accomplished physiotherapist. I used to represent Poland in athletics competitions. I have earned a PhD in Sports Science and have partaken in approximately 100 scientific conferences so far. In addition to that, I am a widely published author. I have published 4 monographs, an academic coursebook and over 225 scholarly articles on physiotherapy, wellness, anthropology, psychology and theory of supplementary training for horsw riders in WKKW championships. I have attached a list of my publications in Poland and abroad. As you will notice, one of my interests is equestrian training. Presently, I am a retired academic teacher, but continue to cooperate with the Institute of Physical Education at KazimierzWielki University in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

MEH Basil KUM is a young Cameroonian born in the year 1989; very passionate in professional training, research and innovation. He is a physiotherapist by profession, a lecturer in more than five different health private universities in Cameroon. Couple to this, he is the Provost and founder of STEM Higher Institute Douala, Cameroon. He is also the founder of the association African Forum for Research and Rehabilitation in the year 2017 and the co-founder of a research association known as research for sustainable health (R4SH). Basil obtained his bachelor’s degree in the University Of Dschang West Region of Cameroon in Biomedical Sciences, his master’s degree in the same university in Biomedical Sciences specialty: physiotherapy. He was admitted to study a PhD in Physiology, in the department of biology and conservation, faculty of science in the University Of Buea Southwest Region Of Cameroon in the year 2018.He recently completed his PhD and have published more ten (10) scientific articles. A corresponding author in many published articles. He is a youth leader, the author of the book “I’M VICTORY” (The power of the mind). Basil is a passionate teacher and enjoys the classroom, this is demonstrated by the fact that his best moments are spent inside the classroom with his students.
