Dieter Bimberg received the Ph.D. magna cum laude from Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. He held for 7 years a Principal Scientist position at the Max Planck-Institute for Solid State Research, Grenoble, France. After serving as a Professor of electrical engineering, Technical University of Aachen, Germany, he assumed the Chair of Applied Solid-State Physics at Technical University of Berlin. He is the Founding Director of its Center of NanoPhotonics. He was holding guest professorships at the Technion, Haifa, U.C. Santa Barbara, CA, USA, and at Hewlett-Packard in Palo Alto, CA. He was Distinguished Adjunct Professor at KAU, Jeddah 2012-2018.In 2018 he assumed the directorship of the “Bimberg Chinese German Center for Green Photonics” at the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, the EU Academy of Sciences, a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the US Academies of Engineering and of Inventors, Fellow of the Chinese Optical Society, a Life Fellow of the American Physical Society the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, IEEE, and a honorary member of the Ioffe Institute of the RAS. He is recipient of many important international awards, like the UNESCO Nanoscience Award, the Max-Born Award and Medal of IoP and DPG, the Heinrich-Welker-Award, the Nick Holonyak Jr. Award, the Oyo Buturiand MOC Awards of the Japanese Society of Applied Physics, the Jun-Ichi Nishizawa Medal and Award of IEEE, the Stern-Gerlach Award of DPG (the highest German physics award),to mention a few. He received honorary doctorates of the University of Lancaster, UK, and the St. Petersburg Alferov University of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has authored more than 1600 papers, 71 patents and patent applications, and six books. The number of times his research works has been cited exceeds 67,000 and his Hirsch factor is 114 (@ Google Scholar). His research interests include physics and technology of nanostructures, nanostructure based photonic and electronic devices, and energy efficient data communication.

Prof. Chung is a Jade Mountain Chair professor (Yushan Scholar) at the Graduate Institute of Applied Science and Technology of NTUST, Taiwan. Before joining NTUST, he was a Provost’s Chair Professor at the ChBE department of NUS in 2011-2021. His research focuses on polymeric membranes for clean water, clear air, clear energy and pharmaceutic separation. In 2005-2008, he worked as a Senior Consultant for Hyflux, led and built its membrane research team. Thomas J. Webster’s (H index: 117; Google Scholar) degrees are in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh (B.S., 1995; USA) and in biomedical engineering from RPI (Ph.D., 2000; USA). He has served as a professor at Purdue (2000-2005), Brown (2005-2012), and Northeastern (2012-2021; serving as Chemical Engineering Department Chair from 2012 - 2019) Universities and has formed over a dozen companies who have numerous FDA approved medical products currently improving human health. He is currently helping those companies and serves as a professor at Hebei University of Technology, Saveetha University, Vellore Institute of Technology, UFPI, and others. Professor Wang’s research focuses on new functional ceramics, electroceramic and composite materials that are inevitably required for the next generation of energy generation and storage, electronics and healthcare. His research group has been working on novel fabrication techniques for these materials and understanding of the correlations between their structural parameters, at various length scales ranging from molecular, nanometer to micrometer ranges, and their functional properties. More recently, Professor Wang’s research is concentrating on carbon-based materials, nanohybrids and mesoporous materials for energy generation, energy storage and biomedical applications. He and his research group have successfully developed several types of new nanohybrids and mesoporous materials for applications in energy generation storage and drug delivery.

Dr. M.V. Reddy obtained his Ph. D (2003) in the area of Materials Science and Engineering (with highest distinction)from the University of Bordeaux, France. From July 2003 to May 2019,he worked at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Chemistry and Physics, National University of Singapore (NUS). Singapore. June 2019 to Aug 2021, he worked at the Centre of Excellence in Transportation Electrification and Energy Storage, Hydro-Québec, Canada. Currently working as a Senior Professional Researcher and group leader in Energy Storage Technology at New graphite world(Nouveau Monde Graphite)(NMG),Quebec, Montreal, Canada. Over the past 21 years, he has conducted leading research on Materials for Energy Storage& Conversion, Environmental protection, Materials processing & characterization, Nanotechnology, and the development of in situ techniques for Energy storage renewable technologies. Dr. Reddy has published220 papers in various international journals. He has obtained an h-index of 72 with over 18500 citations. Dr. Shu YIN received a B. S. degree in inorganic chemical engineering from the Dalian University of Technology in 1987. He received his M.S. degree in chemical metallurgy from the Institute of Chemical Metallurgy (ICM, latterly Institute of Process and Engineering, IPE), Chinese Academy of Science in 1990, then worked as a research associate for 2 years at ICM. He came to Japan and worked as a research fellow in the Hydrothermal Chemistry Research Laboratory (Prof. N. Yamasaki’s Group), Kochi University in 1992, then became a research assistant at the Institute for Chemical Reaction Science (ICRS, Prof. T. Sato’s group), Tohoku University during 1995-1997. He received a Ph.D. degree in applied chemistry from Tohoku University (research period shortened) in 1999. He was a research assistant at the ICRS in 1999, then a lecturer and associate professor at the Institute of Multidisciplinary Research for Advanced Materials (IMRAM), Tohoku University in 2005, and then a full-time professor in 2016. He is also an affiliate professor of eight Chinese Universities/institutes (Lanzhou University; Dalian University of Technology; Guangxi Research Institute of Chemical Industry, Huaqiao University, Taiyuan University of Technology, Sichuan University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing University of Science and Technology). He has authored more than 560 original research papers (IF>4: more than 100 papers), contributed 25 book chapters/ review papers and 22 patents. His research papers were cited more than 16867 times and showed a citation h-index = 69, i10=301, h5-index=22. His research interests include morphological control of nanostructured materials, photocatalytic materials, UV-IR shielding smart window materials, 2D gas sensing materials, hydrothermal/solvothermal processes, soft chemical synthesis etc.. Prof. Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics as Sustainable Geoengineering” for environmental modifications and resource circulations, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Rocío Moriche is Senior Lecturerat the University of Seville since 2022, she has previously worked at the University Rey Juan Carlos (2012-2018) and held other positions at the University of Seville (since 2018). Her research has been focused on the development of multifunctional nanocomposite and multiscale materials and their processing and characterization. In particular, she has experience in graphene-based nanostructures and nanoceramic-filled composites, using both polymer and ceramic matrices, to achieve electrically and thermally conductive materials and piezoelectric properties for structural health monitoring and nanogenerators as well as the processing and characterization of ceramics.

Dr. Khalil AL-Bukhaiti is a distinguished expert in the field of evaluation with a genuine interest in improving structural engineering constructions. His evaluation model is grounded on responsive constructivism, which has led to the development of novel materials to enhance the resistance of structural members. With years of experience in research, evaluation, teaching, and analysis, Dr. AL-Bukhaiti has created this model through practical experimentation in laboratories and educational institutions. The central tenet of Dr. AL-Bukhaiti's work is strengthening reinforced concrete members, such as columns and bridge piers, using fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) materials to withstand the impact of train-derailed collisions. This methodology builds upon previous generations of evaluation methods, namely analysis, design, and evaluations, and accommodates theoretical assumptions. Notably, this approach is highly responsive to field practices and departs from conventional techniques in several ways.

Jolanda SPADAVECCHIA, is Research Director at CNRS. Since 2017, director of the group Nano-Photo-Med, (10 young researchers, PhD students and engineers) and since 2018, she is head of the team called Nanomedicine, Biomarker and detection (NBD) on the development of therapeutics and biomarker-detection in order to create new nanomedical-devices applied in the field of nanomedicine and biosensors in collaboration with start-ups and industry. Her research activities are focused on the realisation of nanovectors, biosensors and the development of Nano-hybrid materials for Cancer Therapy. Recently she obtained a Ligue cancer project, several industrial projects and a leadership of Nano Technology platform France-Chine. Finally, she have published more than 109 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 6 world patents, with a huge impact on the nanomedicine and chemistry scientific communities.

Ramzi RZIG, Doctor of Energy Engineering from the National School of Engineers of Monastir from Tunisia. After engineering cycle at the National School of Engineers of Monastir, he did his thesis in heat and mass transfer (Porous Media) in Laboratory of Thermal and Energy Systems Studies. Ms. Neha Dubey is a postgraduate student in Chemistry from Sunandan Divatia School of Science, NMIMS, Mumbai, India. She has worked as a research intern in Bhabha Atomic research centre, Trombay, India. Raja Rizwan Hussain received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in 2006 and 2008 in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan which is ranked among Top 20 universities in the world. Dr. Hussain was ranked as outstanding student and was awarded the best research thesis, prize and medal from the University of Tokyo. He was given Furuichi Kimitake Prize, which is the highest award in the entire University. He also completed his Ph.D. in a record short period of just 2 years from a university ranked among Top 20 in the world. He is the editor and board member of several ISI-indexed international journals. He has also served as guest editor for several international ISI-indexed journals. Moreover, he is one of the organizing chairs and member of technical committees for more than 6 dozen international conferences, symposiums and seminars. In addition, he is an active reviewer of many international ISI-indexed journals. Hamid Rashidzadeh received his Ph.D. degree in 2022 from the Zanjan University of Medical Sciences (Zanjan, Iran), where he studied Pharmaceutical Biomaterials. During his Ph.D., he mentored several undergraduate students (Pharm. D and Master Students) and also conducted 11 research projects besides his Ph.D. thesis. His current research activities lie in design and development of targeted drug delivery systems, in particular smart polymeric nanomaterials, multifunctional and stimuli responsive nano carries as well as hybrid nanoparticles for treatment of various diseases such as Ischemic Stroke (IS),Malaria and synchronous chemo-radiotherapy. To put it briefly, he fabricated these nano-scale entities for site-specific delivery of its bioactive agents into the intended cells/or tissues such as brain tissues (for IS), tumor cells (cancer) and red blood cells (malaria). He is (co)author of more than 30 peer review articles in international journals (ACS applied bio materials, Journal of Controlled Release and etc.), 4 book chapters, and his publication H-index is 12. Additionally, he is recipient of numerous awards and honors (Top Scientist of Iran country 2023 and Zanjan province 2022- Ranked first among all researchers).

Prisilla Jayanthi currently working as Faculty Associate, at Mahindra University. She obtained her B.E (CSE) from MVSR Engineering College, Osmania University, Hyderabad in 1993 and her M.Tech Degree in CN&IS from HITS College of Engineering, JNTUH in 2012. She attended various National and International Conferences in the UK, Vienna, and Thailand. She has published over 50 papers,13 book chapters, and one book.
