Philip W. T. Pong received a B.Eng. from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) in 2002 with 1st class honours. Then he obtained a PhD in engineering at the University of Cambridge in 2005. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Magnetic Materials Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) for three years. Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).His research interest focuses on the fault detection, predictive maintenance, and anomaly detection of power grid. He is the Founding Director of the Green Technology Research and Training Laboratory, leading the research and education activities of offshore wind energy at NJIT. Philip Pong is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (FIET), a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), a Fellow of the Energy Institute (FEI), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE), a Fellow of the NANOSMAT Society (FNS), a chartered physicist (CPhys), a chartered engineer (CEng), a chartered energy engineer, a registered professional engineer (R.P.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Energy), and a Senior Member of IEEE (SMIEEE). He serves on the editorial boards for several IEEE and SCI journals.

After completing a B.A. and D. Phil. In Metallurgy and Science of Materials at the University of Oxford, Dr.Ian Baker joined the Faculty of the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in 1982, where heis currently the Sherman Fairchild Professor of Engineering and Senior Associate Dean for Research and Graduate programs. He was the Director of the NIST-funded Center for Nanomaterials Research at Dartmouth from 2002-2005, and Director of the NIH-funded Center for Cancer Nanotechnology Excellence on Magnetic Hyperthermia from 2011-2016. Dr. Baker is a Chartered Engineer (U.K.), and a Fellow of ASM international, TMS, MRS, IOMMM (U.K.) and AAAS. He was Editor-in-Chief of the journal Materials Characterization from 2008-2020. He is co-Editor in Chief of the journal High Entropy Alloys and Materials and Field Chief Editor for the Journal Frontiers in Metals and Alloys both of which will be launched in 2022. He has published over 400 papers and one book entitled “Fifty Materials that Make the World”.

Soshu Kirihara is a doctor of engineering and a professor of Joining and Welding Research Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan. In his main investigation “Materials Tectonics as Sustainable Geoengineering” for environmental modifications and resource circulations, multi-dimensional structures were successfully fabricated to modulate energy and materials flows effectively. Ceramic and metal components were fabricated directly by smart additive manufacturing, design and evaluation (Smart MADE) using high power ultraviolet laser lithography. Original stereolithography systems were developed, and new start-up company “SK-Fine” was established through academic-industrial collaboration.

Vasudevan Pillai Biju is a Professor at the Research Institute for Electronic Science and Graduate School of Environmental Science at Hokkaido University. He assumed this position after a research career - as a scientist and a senior scientist in AIST, Japan (2004-2015), a PRESTO researcher of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST, 2010-2014), a visiting Scientist at the University of Texas at Austin, USA (2007), a postdoctoral fellow at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, USA (2003-2004), a JSPS postdoctoral fellow in AIST, Japan (2002-2003), and a research scientist at Angstrom Technology Partnership, Japan (2000-2002). He has been a visiting faculty in many universities, including in Japan, the US, and India. He has been a member of the board of studies/faculty evaluation/faculty screening/project screening committees of academic and government bodies in Japan, India, New Zealand, Chili, Taiwan, the European Union, Singapore, etc. He was a SPARC fellow of the Science and Engineering Research Board of India and an Erudite Fellow of the Bard of Higher Education, Kerala, India. His research interests include semiconductor nanocrystals and quantum dots, photo-functional molecules, nanobiotechnogy, and single-molecule techniques. His research activities are recognized with various awards by the Ozaki Foundation (Gen-nai Prize and Gen-nai Award), the Japanese Photochemistry Association, the Asian and Oceanian Photochemistry Association, and the Chemical Society of Japan. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2011. He has beenan associate editor of the Elsevier Journal, J. Photochem. Photobiol. C (Impact factor 17.1), and an associate editor of the NPG journal, NPG Asia Materials (IF=10.9).

Prof. Yong Liu, is the Director of National Engineering Research Center for Powder Metallurgy in Central South University. He got his Ph.D. degree of Materials Science in Powder Metallurgy ResearchInstitute in 1999. He also was a visiting scientist in Oak Ridge National Laboratory during 2005-2006, and in RWTH Aachen University during 2009-2011. His research field covers high temperature structural materials, titanium alloys and hard materials, usually through the technique route of powder metallurgy. He has won many academic honors, including Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship, and National S&T Award of China, published more than 200 peer-reviewed journalpapers, and also more than 50 patents. He is now serving as editors for journalsincludingIntermetallics and Materials Characterization.

P. J. von Ranke completed his PhD from Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas, Brazil, and postdoctoral studies from AMES-Laboratory, USA. He has published more than 150 papers in reputed journals.

Dr. Mahavir Singh is a Professor at Department of Physics Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, India. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience. He remains head of the department during 2007-2009, 2015 and Dean Engineering Himachal Pradesh University 2017-2018. He was Common Wealth Fellow, UK (2006-2007), Visiting Fellow, Faculty of Engineering, University of Dundee, UK (2006-2007), Visiting Professor at, Faculty of Engineering University De Bretagne Occidentale, Brest France (2007-2008) and Vice Chancellor at IEC University, Solan, India (2015-17). He was awarded with 100 Most Influential Vice Chancellor Award 2016 by World Education Congress, Global Achiever Award 2014 by Indian Heritage Institute and Calcutta Bharat Excellence Award 2015 from Friendship Forum New Delhi. He has authored book Ferrites and Multiferroics (Engineering Materials Springer) He has authored book chapter Complex magnetic nanostructure (Springer), The Basis of Nanomagnetism: An Overview of Exchange Bias and Spring Magnets CRC Press, more than 5 text books on different areas of physics. He has published more than 190 research papers in different peer reviewed international journals and about 100 Invited lectures delivered in International conferences. He has guided 23 Ph.D students and evaluated 60 Ph.D Thesis.

Dr R Gopalan is presently working as Full time Visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Technology(Madras), Chennai, India. He was former Regional Director (2010-2022) at International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI), Department of Science & Technology(DST), Government of India. He led the Project Centres of ARCI at IIT Madras Research Park, Chennai for Alternative Energy Materials and Systems. He also works as Adjunct Professor at IISc, Bangalore.India apart from holding Distinguished Visiting professorship from Indian National Academy of Engineering He obtained his Ph.D in Physics from IIT(Madras), Chennai. In 1985 he joined as Scientist, at Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL,), Hyderabad and worked on various levels for National Mission Projects (Advanced magnetic materials) for more than 22 years. He had a Research stay for nearly 5 years as Visiting Scientist at National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan during 2003-2010. After return from Japan in 2010 he joined ARCI and established a new Project Centre on Automotive Energy Materials at IITMadras-Research Park. He co-ordinated major programmes at ARCI on Li-ion battery for Electric Vehicle (EV) applications, Magnets for Automotive & EV applications, Fuel cells for energy storage & conversion and thermoelectric materials for waste heat management in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode. He has published more than 180 papers in refereed international / national journals and has 14 patents to his professional credit. He has guided and guiding many Ph.D scholars at ARCI and IITs / NITs. Dr. Sannidhi has 10+ years of multidisciplinary research and development experience in Chemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Sannidhi received his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering in 2020 from Auburn University, USA. His doctoral research has been focused on the development and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles and magnetically labeled mammalian cells using dark-field imaging and magnetic cytometry. He then continued to do his Postdoctoral research at Auburn University. He is currently serving as a Research and Development Manager at Nanoxort LLC, USA, developing novel iron oxide-based MRI contrast agents.

Cong Wang: Professor of Physics in Beihang University. His research interests are in the fields of condensed matter physics and spintronics. He got his Ph. D in 1995 from Inst. of Physics, CAS,China, and worked as an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) research fellow in Uni. of Karlsruhe inGermanyfrom 2,1998-5,1999. He got his permanent Professor position in Dept. of Physics, Beihang University from 7, 2003. He has published 255 papers, 15 national patents and given more than 30 invited speaks in International Conferences.

Dr. Izabela Kuryliszyn-Kudelska currently holds the position of leading the Semimagnetic Semicondoctor Group at the Institite of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, Poland. After graduating from Department of Physics Warsaw University, Dr. Kuryliszyn- Kudelska earned her doctoral degree from the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research interests encompass experimental studies of magnetic, transport, magnetotransport, magnetooptical properties of II-VI, IV-VI and III-V semimagnetic (diluted magnetic) semiconductors. She actively participates in experimental research focusing on magnetic inorganic nanomaterials. This research encompasses a range of materials, such as magnetic semiconductor nanocrystals derived from oxide compounds, graphene nanoflakes decorated with magnetic nanoparticles, and carbon nanotubes. Her scientific achievements include 48 publications, and a monograph. Her publications have garnered over 1100 timed citations, with an average of 21 citations per publications. In recognition of her scholarly prowess, Dr. Kudelska was honored with the Director of the Institute of Physics Polish Academy of Sciences Award for the best habilitation in 2019.

Dr. FARES Redouane has completed his PhD from physics Institute of Science and Technology University of Oran, Algeria. He is a teacher in university of Relizane and member of LIGDD research laboratory. He has published more than 56 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of journals and international and local conferences.
