David has a 33-year career in research in academia, industry and government research laboratories in Canada, Japan and Australia. He was with the University of Sydney for over 15 years, the last 10 of which were with the ARC Centre of Excellence CUDOS. David still holds an honorary Professorial Fellow position with the University of Sydney. Professor Moss has over 520 publications including numerous articles in Nature family journals and conference papers with around 7000 citations and an h-index of 46. He is leading extensive international research networks in nanophotonics and other areas. David has been highly successful at winning ARC competitive research grants and has won a number of notable awards for his research including the 2011 Australian Museum Award and the Google Eureka Science Prize for Innovation. David is a Fellow of the Optical Society of America and the IEEE.

Jiazhao Wang is a Professor at the Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials, University of Wollongong, Australia. Her research activities are focused on electrochemical energy storage in batteries, including Li-ion batteries, Na-ion batteries, metal-air batteries (Li-air, Na-ion Zn-air batteries), and Li/Na-sulfur batteries. She has won more than 30 research grants including 20 Australian Research Council (ARC) grants as a chief investigator (CI). She has published more than 240 papers in international journals (Citations>21600, H index = 81, Google Scholar). She is an associate editor of Energy Material. She has supervised more than 30 PhD students to completion.

Dr Chua Kian Jon is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore. He has been conducting research on air-conditioning, refrigeration, and heat recovery systems since 1997. He has conducted both modelling and experimental works for specific thermal energy systems. These include dehumidification, cooling, heat pumping, compact heat exchangers and refined temperature/humidity control. He is highly skilled in designing; fabricating; commissioning and testing many sustainable energy systems to provide for heating, cooling and humidity control for both small and large scale applications. He has more than 200 international peer-reviewed journal publications, 6 book chapters and two recent monographs on advances in air conditioning (https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9789811584763 and https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783030808426). He was highlighted among the top 1% of scientists in the world by the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network and top 0.5% in the Stanford list of energy researchers. His works has garnered more than 10,900 over citations with a current h‐index of 55. Further, he owns more than 10 patents related to several innovative cooling and dehumidification systems. He is the Principal Investigator of several multi-million competitive research grants. Additionally, he has been awarded multiple local, regional, and international awards for his breakthrough research endeavours.

Manijeh Razeghi received the Doctorate d’état ES Sciences Physiques from the Université de Paris, France, in 1980. Manijeh Razeghi was the Head of the Exploratory Materials Laboratory at Thomson-CSF (France) during the 80’s where she developed and implemented modern metalorganic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) vapor phase epitaxy (VPE), molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), GasMBE, and MOMBE for entire compositional ranges of III-V compound semiconductors from deep UV to THZ.. Developing these tools was fundamental in enabling her to achieve high purity semiconductor crystals with a consistency and reliability that was often unmatched, thereby leading to new physics phenomena in InP , GaAs, GaSb, and AlN based semiconductors and quantum structures. She realized the first InP Quantum wells and Superlattices and demonstrated the marvels of quantum mechanics in the low dimensional world. She joined Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, as a Walter P. Murphy Professor and Director of the Center for Quantum Devices in Fall 1991, where she created the undergraduate and graduate program in solid-state engineering. She has authored or co-authored more than 1000 papers, more than 34 book chapters, and 20 books, including the textbooks Technology of Quantum Devices (Springer Science Business Media, Inc., New York, NY U.S.A. 2010) and Fundamentals of Solid State Engineering, 4th Edition (Springer Science Business Media, Inc., New York, NY U.S.A. 2018). Two of her books, MOCVD Challenge Vol. 1 (IOP Publishing Ltd., Bristol, U.K., 1989) and MOCVD Challenge Vol. 2 (IOP Publishing Ltd., Bristol, U.K., 1995), discuss some of her pioneering work in InP-GaInAsP and GaAs-GaInAsP based systems. The MOCVD Challenge, 2nd Edition (Taylor & Francis/CRC Press, 2010) represents the combined updated version of Volumes 1 and 2. She holds more than 60 U.S. patents and has given more than 1000 invited and plenary talks. Her current research interest is in nanoscale optoelectronic quantum devices. Dr. Razeghi is a Fellow of MRS, IOP, IEEE, APS, SPIE, OSA, Fellow and Life Member of Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Fellow of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC). She received the IBM Europe Science and Technology Prize in 1987, the Achievement Award from the SWE in 1995, the R.F. Bun shah Award in 2004, IBM Faculty Award 2013, the Jan Czochralski Gold Medal in 2016, the 2018 Benjamin Franklin Medal in Electrical Engineering, and many best paper awards. She is an elected life-Fellow of SWE, IEEE, and MRS.

Dr. Nabil Grace is the Dean of College of Engineering, Lawrence Technological University (LTU), Southfield, MI and the Director of Nabil Grace’s Center for Innovative Materials Research (CIMR) at LTU. Dr. Grace's research interests focus on the use of innovative materials in solving deteriorated related issues in bridge construction. With funding of several million dollars from FHWA, NSF, DOTs, ARL and various private organizations, Dr. Grace conducted several investigations on the use of new materials as internal/external nonprestressed/prestressed/post-tensioned reinforcement in different beam bridges. His research recent work has promoted the construction of several highway bridges in the USA, prestressed and reinforced with innovative composite materials.

Dr. Manju Misra is a professor and Canada Research Chair (CRC) Tier 1 in Sustainable Biocomposites in the School of Engineering and holds a joint appointment in the Dept. of Plant Agriculture at the University of Guelph. As well, she is the Research Program Director of the Bioeconomy Panel for the Ontario Agri-Food Innovation Alliance, a program between the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) and the University of Guelph. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), and the Society of Plastic Engineers (SPE). Dr. Misra’s current research focuses primarily on novel bio-based composites and nanocomposites from agricultural, forestry and recycled resources for the sustainable bioeconomy moving towards Circular Economy. She has authored more than 700 publications, including 403 peer-reviewed journal papers, 21 book chapters, and 53 patents. She was the editor or co-editor of 4 books in the area of biocomposites and nano-composites. She was the President of the BioEnvironmental Polymer Society (BEPS) in 2009. She serves on the editorial board of “Journal of Applied Polymer Science”, “Composites Part A: Science and Manufacturing”, “Polymer Testing”, “ACS OMEGA”, “Macromolecular Materials and Engineering”, and “Composites Part C: Open Access”. In 2012, Dr. Misra received the prestigious “Jim Hammar Memorial Award” from BEPS and University of Guelph’s Innovation of the year award for the involvement in developing the “Compostable single-serve coffee pods”in 2016. In 2017, Dr. Misra has also received the Andrew Chase Division Award in Chemical Engineering from the Forest Bioproducts Division of AIChE. His main research interests are in the field of building acoustics (it is noise transmission in the audio frequencies), application of statistical energy analysis (SEA) to buildings and other structures, modeling of wall sound transmission losses using artificial neural network (ANN), noise & vibration control, calibration & testing of electro-acoustic equipments/acoustical products & devices, maintenance, up-gradation & realization of national primary standards for acoustics and vibration to establish a quality system for traceable calibration measurement service; participated in key comparison of national acoustics and vibration standards at CCUVA/APMP level with NMIs of the world and advisory technical consultancy in architectural acoustics. Sushanta Mitra is the Executive Director of the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology and a Professor in Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. His research interests are in the fundamental understanding of fluid transport in micro and nano-scale confinements with applications in energy, water, and bio-systems. Stefan Ståhl is since 1999 a professor in Molecular Biotechnology at the Department of Protein Science, within the CBH school, KTH. The research focus is on the protein engineering of small affinity domains, denoted affibody molecules, for applications in medicine, such as medical imaging and drug development. A class of small affinity proteins, denoted affibody molecules1, has been developed at the department. The therapeutic potential of affibody molecules is currently being investigated in various settings, including tumor targeting for in vivo imaging and biotherapy applications. Cancer biomarkers such as EGFR, HER2 and HER3 have been used in the context of tumor targeting, and mono- bi- and multispecific formats are being evaluated, as well as affibody-drug conjugates in prodrug formats. In addition, affibodies are being investigated and evaluated in the context of neurodegenerative disorders. The aim is to generate tools to study the development of the diseases in various models, to generate tracers to allow diagnosis by means of medical imaging and also to generate candidates for proteins therapeutics for evaluation in preclinical models. As has been demonstrated, affibody-based strategies for design of next-generation therapeutics seem promising.

Professor Ir Dr Sevia Mahdaliza Idrus is the Deputy Dean (Development & Alumni), Faculty of Engineering, UTM. She received her Bachelor in Electrical Engineering in 1998 and Master in Engineering Management in 1999, both from UTM. She obtained her Ph.D in 2004 from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom in optical communication engineering. She has served UTM since 1998 as an academic and administrative staff. Her main research interests are optical communication system and network, optoelectronic design, and engineering management. She is the founder and Director of a UTM spin-off company, iSmartUrus Sdn Bhd (1057063A) successfully commercialized her invention, a novel airtime based mobile micropayment solution and application-centric IoT based mobile enforcement device for smart city. She is actively involved in a number industrial and international research collaboration projects, delivered keynote and invited speeches to many international conferences and seminars. Based on her active contribution with industry for smart city solution, she has been awarded ‘The Top Research Scientists Malaysia 2021’ by Academy Science Malaysia, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation and ‘51 Most Impactful Smart Cities Leaders 2019 Award’ in conjunction with World CSR Day & World Sustainability Congress 2019, Mumbai, India on March 2019. She led a four years G2G project on ‘Radar over Fiber Foreign Object Debris Detection System’ field trial at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) a collaboration project between UTM, Hitachi Kokusai Electric Japan and Malaysia Airport (Sepang) under financial support from Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication Japan. The project has made KLIA and Malaysia as world focal point for development of high precision millimetre wave radar at 90-100GHz range. She is Senior Member of IEEE and member of Editorial Board of few refereed international journals. She has been appointed as Guest Professor at Osaka Prefecture University and Tokai University, Japan in 2011 and 2014, respectively.

Professor Kim Choon NG obtained his BSc and PhD from the Strathclyde University (Glasgow, UK) in 1975 and 1980, respectively, worked briefly at Babcock Power Ltd (Renfrew, Glasgow) and joined the ME Dept. of NUS in 1981. After 34 years at in NUS, he joined the Water Desalination and Reuse Centre of the King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia in 2015 as a full-time faculty. His research interests are in adsorption cooling, innovative air conditioning and dehumidifier systems, seawater desalination, co-generation power systems analysis and harnessing sunlight to liquid fuels by CPV systems. He pioneered the use of the heat-driven AD cycle to lower the bottom brine temperature limit of MED processes. Kim Choon is the lead PI for KAUST Cooling Initiative (KCI -2019-2022) that will develop chillers for air conditioning without compressors or use of chemical refrigerants. He has over 270 peer reviewed journals and conference publications. He is active in professional services, serving as associate editors in three international journals, as well as in the committee for PE examination (Part 1_Mechanical, from 2008 to 2015) of PE Board, Singapore. He has been on visiting professorship to the World Class University (WCU) program of Jeju National University, Korea from 2008-2013 and also as a visiting Imperial Professor to Kyushu University in Japan (2004, 2006). Dr. Shahzad is working as a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical and Construction Engineering Department at Northumbria University (NU), Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. I worked as a Research Scientist in the Water Desalination and Reuse Center of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology from 2014-2019 before joining NU, UK. His research focused on hybrid desalination processes, heating and cooling, solar thermal energy storage and renewable energy research. He has recieved many international awards including, Sustainability Medal 2020, Global Innovation Award 2020, National Energy Globe Award Saudi Arabia 2020 and 2019, Excellence and Leadership Award 2019, IDA Environmental & Sustainability Award 2019. Dr Wenlong Ming (WM) has been a Senior Lecturer of Power Electronics at Cardiff University since August 2020. He was awarded a PhD degree from the University of Sheffield in March 2016 and was funded by EPSRC as an exchange scholar to visit the Centre for Power Electronics Systems (CPES) in Virginia Tech USA, for four months in 2012. He conducts fundamental and applied research into future electronic circuits and systems. Prof. Ivan Ganchev is an IEEE Senior Member, a URSI Senior Member, an ITU-T Invited Expert, and an IET Invited Lecturer. He was involved in 40+ international and national research projects. Prof. Ganchev has served on the Technical Program Committee of 350+ prestigious international conferences, symposia, and workshops. He has (co)authored 1 monographic book, 3 textbooks, 4 edited books, and 300+ research papers in refereed international journals, books, and conference proceedings. Prof. Ganchev is an Area Editor of the Elsevier “Computer Networks” journal, an Editorial Board Member of the Hindawi “Wireless Communications and Mobile Computing” journal, the MDPI “Electronics” journal, the MDPI “Mathematics” journal, and the Wiley “Internet Technology Letters” journal, and a Regional Editor (Europe) of the International Journal on Trust Management in Computing and Communications. He also seats on the Editorial Board of and has served as a Guest Editor for multiple other international journals.

Hiroshi Asanuma obtained his Dr Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo, Japan. He then worked as a research associate at the Indian Institute of Science and as a visiting professor at the University of Wollongong, Australia, and Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Since then he has been a professor at Chiba University. He has also served as the chair of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME) Materials and Processing division, and he is the chair of the JSME Active Material System technical series. In addition, he is a fellow of JSME and the Institute of Physics

Ramesh Agarwal’s current research interests include ground effect aerodynamics, flow control, rarefied gas dynamics and hypersonic flow, bio-fluid dynamics, wind energy, energy efficiency of buildings, chemical looping combustion and geological carbon sequestration. Prior to joining the faculty at Washington University in 2001, Professor Agarwal was the Chair of the Aerospace Engineering Department at Wichita State University from 1994 to 1996 and the Executive Director of National Institute for Aviation Research from 1996 to 2001. From 1994 to 2001, he was also the Bloomfield Distinguished Professor at Wichita State University. From 1978 to 1994, Professor Agarwal worked in various scientific and managerial positions at McDonnell Douglas Research Laboratories in St. Louis. He became the Program Director and McDonnell Douglas Fellow in 1990. From 1976 to 1978, Professor Agarwal worked as a NRC Research Associate at NASA Ames Research Center and as a Principal Research Engineer at Rao and Associates in Palo Alto, California from 1975 to 1976. Over a period of 45 years, Professor Agarwal has worked in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computational Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) and Electromagnetics, Computational Aeroacoustics, Multidisciplinary Design and Optimization, Rarefied Gas Dynamics and Hypersonic Flows, Bio-Fluid Dynamics, and Flow and Flight Control. More recently, he has devoted some of his efforts in nanotechnology and renewable energy systems - in particular wind, solar and biomass. He is the author and coauthor of over 600 publications and serves on the editorial board of more than 20 journals. He has given many plenary, keynote and invited lectures at various national and international conferences in over 60 countries worldwide. Professor Agarwal continues to serve on many professional, government, and industrial advisory committees.

Ivan Zelinka is currently working at the Technical University of Ostrava (VSB-TU), Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He graduated consequently at Technical University in Brno (1995 – MSc.), UTB in Zlin (2001 – PhD) and again at Technical University in Brno (2004 – assoc. prof.) and VSB-TU (2010 - professor). During his career he proposed and opened numerous lectures mosty focused on AI and unconventional algorithms. He also has been invited for lecturing at various universities worldwide including keynote speaker and tutorial possitions. The field of his expertise if mainly on AI, unconventional algorithms and cybersecurity. He is and was responsible supervisor / cosupervisor of 6 Czech grant of fundamental and applied research and as a memberof a few international (H2020). Currently, he is a professor at the Department of Computer Science and in total, he has been the supervisor of more than 50 MSc. and 25 Bc. diploma thesis. Ivan Zelinka is also supervisor of doctoral students including students from the abroad. He was awarded by Siemens Award for his PhD thesis, as well as by journal Software news for his book about artificial intelligence. Ivan Zelinka is a member of British Computer Society, Editor in chief of Springer book series: Emergence, Complexity and Computation (http://www.springer.com/series/10624), Editorial board of Saint Petersburg State University Studies in Mathematics, a few international program committees of various conferences and international journals. Further research interests: Quantization of circuits and extension to biophysics (DNA-calculations with methods of the charge space quantization), relative biological efficiency (RBE) of different kinds of radiation, water electrolysis with additional use of radiation ionization, superconductivity, quantum computer, nuclear/particle physics with focus to nonlinear Schrödinger and Dirac equations in charge space.

Karl-Heinz Gresslehner was born on 27.03.1948 and completed his PhD in the field of semiconductor physics in 1981 at the Johannes Kepler University in Linz. He was working more than 10 years in the industry (semiconductor industry, environmental protection at the state government Upper Austria) and 24 years as a teacher at a school for higher technical education (HTL). Since 2016 he is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences in Upper Austria and is the head of the research group Thermoelectricity. Research Interest: solid state semiconductor physics, quantum mechanics, electrodynamics

Dariusz Jacek Jakóbczak graduated in mathematics (numerical methods and programming) from the University of Gdansk, Poland in 1990. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2007 in computer science from the Polish – Japanese Institute of Information Technology, Warsaw, Poland. From 1991 to 1994 he was a civilian programmer in the High Military School in Koszalin. He was a teacher of mathematics and computer science in the Private Economic School in Koszalin from 1995 to 1999. Since March 1998 he has worked in the Department of Electronics and Computer Science, Technical University of Koszalin, Poland and since October 2007 he has been an Assistant Professor in the Chair of Computer Science and Management in this department. Dr. Sam Kherat is Associate Professor of Mechatronics at Canadian University Dubai. He holds a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, and a master’s in electrical engineering from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, USA. He worked for Caterpillar, Inc. for two decades starting in 1996 where he was founding Manager of Caterpillar’s automation center in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to that, Dr. Kherat has been technical lead for Automation and Robotics programs including automated mining trucks, cycle planning, underground mining automation, and automated excavation. He was Caterpillar’s Project Manager for the DARPA Grand Challenges and the 2007 Urban Challenge won by the Caterpillar-Carnegie Mellon University team.

Since 2014 Frank Rögener has been working as Professor of Fluid Process Engineering at Cologne University of Applied Sciences (TH Köln). His focus is on thermal process technology, including membrane and wastewater technology. He studied chemical engineering at the TU Clausthal. In 2000 he received his doctorate from the University of Saarland on the application of membrane processes. For more than 20 years, Dr. Rögener has been involved in the development of energy- and resource-efficient processes, especially in the food industry, chemical industry and metal finishing industry.

Dr. Alexander Khmaladze received his Ph.D. from the University of South Florida, where he published a number of papers on digital holographic phase imaging. He then accepted a postdoctoral position at the University of Michigan, where he worked on the application of near-infrared Raman Spectroscopy to monitoring of tissue constructs implanted in mice, with the ultimate goal of applying this technique to human patients. Dr. Khmaladze joined the physics department of SUNY at Albany in September 2014. Currently, his lab has several digital holographic microscopic setups, 3D Cell imaging tomographic microscope, and a portable Raman microscopic system. His research interests include Raman spectroscopy and microscopy, three-dimensional digital holographic imaging, microscope design, hyperspectral imaging of live cells and biological tissue imaging.

Dr. Arman Haghighi received his M. S. and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Riverside. He is currently active in the industry and serves as an adjunct faculty at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has authored and co-authored a variety of articles in the areas of thermal fluidic energy systems and renewable energy, in peer reviewed journals as well as conference papers. His works cover fundamental and computational investigation of heat and mass transfer in energy systems. He also serves as the peer reviewer for multiple world class Journals in the field. His research area interests include thermal fluidic energy systems, transport through porous media, nano fluids and heat pipes, one- and two-phase cooling techniques and microfluidics.

Dr. Bing Li is a professor in the School of Aeronautics at Northwestern Polytechnical University (Xi’an, China). He conducted his Post-Doctoral training in 2015-2018 at The University of Akron (Akron, US). He received his Ph.D. in the College of Engineering at Peking University (Beijing, China) in 2015. He received his Joint-Supervision Ph.D. training in the School of AMME at The University of Sydney (Sydney, Australia) in 2013-2014. Dr. Li’s current research interests include dynamics of elastic/mechanical metamaterials/metasurfaces, vibration and noise control, wave mechanics, structural health monitoring and advanced composites. He has published >70 scientific papers in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and renowned international conferences, >10 issued or pending patents, >20 invited presentations. Dr. Li is an Editor Board Member for five scientific journals including Frontiers in Physics (IF 3.560), J. Compos. Sci. etc. He also served as Guest Editor for Sensors（IF 3.576）, Committee Member and Session Chair for >10 international conferences, Reviewer for >30 prestigious journals. Dr. Li is a Senior Member of Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (CSTAM) and Chinese Society for Composite Materials (CSCC), Member of American Society for Composites (ASC), and International Phononic Society (IPS).

Moulad lamyaa is currently professor of computer science in the department of computer science and management at FSJES AC, Hassan II University of Casablanca, Morocco, she has taught and researched in universities in Morocco, and in international universities. Prof. Moulad's research interests include computer science, intelligent systems & IoT, computer security of wireless networks and information system, intelligent data analysis and its applications. She has published several articles in international journals and participated in numerous national and international scientific events. She is a member of the editorial board of the journal IJSEA as well as a PCM member of related AIRCC conferences around the world. Farah JEMILI had the Engineer degree in Computer Science in 2002 and the Ph.D degree in 2010. She is currently Assistant Professor at Higher Institute of Computer Science and Telecom of Hammam Sousse (ISITCOM), University of Sousse, Tunisia. She is a senior Researcher at MARS Laboratory (ISITCOM –Tunisia). Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Big Data Analysis, Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems. She served as reviewer for many international conferences and journals. She has many publications; 6 book chapters, 6 journal publications and more than 20 conference papers.

Dr. Baig, MMFA is a registered pharmacist, and currently a post-doctoral fellow (PDF) at the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Professor Dr. Chengfei Zhang. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), and MPhil (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) degrees from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Pakistan, and a Ph.D. degree from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Nanjing University (NJU), China under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Xing-Hua Xia. During his PharmD research, he worked on a clinical trial in the Cardiology Ward of Nishtar Hospital, Multan, Pakistan (2009-2011). Later, he worked as a “Research Assistant” on a breast cancer project in the Department of Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, BZU, Pakistan (2011-2012). His task was to analyze genetic polymorphism in the DNA extracted from the WBCs of the freshly collected blood samples. Then, he joined “Novartis Pharma, Pakistan” as a “Medical Information Officer” in the cardiovascular group (2012-2015) and won the “National Performance Award” in 2015. After that, he switched to academia in 2015 and worked as a “Lecturer of Pharmacology and Biochemistry” in Multan Medical & Dental College, University of Health Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan. He also taught Pharmacology and Physiology as a visiting lecturer at China Pharmaceutical University, and Nanjing Medical University in summer 2019. His MPhil research was focused on DNA Nanotechnology, Polymers, Material Chemistry, Drug Delivery, Biomedical Engineering, and Molecular Pharmaceutics. During his PhD, he won an excellent PhD student award in 2019 and worked on MechanoPharmacology, Advanced DNA NanoTherapeutics, Developmental Biology, Neuroscience, Biophysics, Bio-sensing, Bio-imaging, and Diagnostics. Currently, his research focus is designing DNA-based novel functional & bio-active nanomaterials to apply in Restorative Dentistry, Oral Microbiology & Oncology, Regenerative Therapeutics, and Stem Cells Research. He has published 50 peer-reviewed articles, and 3 book chapters including 19 publications as a first author in prestigious biomedical and nanotechnology journals such as Nano Letters (ACS, USA), indexed in Harvard University Library Press, USA. He has an H-index of 15, and a total of 600 citations (google scholar) with a cumulative impact factor of 250.

Dr. Amir Safari is a senior international advisor on research, innovation, and business development in energy management. Amir joined –in 2010– Dept. of Mechanical & Structural Engineering at the University of Stavanger (UiS) in Norway for PhD study in Mechanical Engineering specialized in advanced computer-aided design, simulation, and optimization for energy conversion systems. He performed his postdoc in Energy Management specialized in energy system modeling and integration, energy efficiency, and distributed generation in Dept. of Energy & Petroleum Engineering, UiS (2015-2018). Amir has also been Adjunct Professor in Energy Informatics in Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, UiS (2018-2020), working on smart communities and cyber-physical energy systems. In 2017, with an extensive background from energy management, he has founded and established Energiring Group in Oslo, Norway. The company's main fields of activity include energy transition, energy efficiency, distributed generation, renewable power plants, gas(biogas/hydrogen)-fueled technologies, energy management, and energy informatics. Currently, Amir is Associate Professor in Mech. Eng. and Energy Systems at the University of South-Eastern Norway, USN, in Kongsberg (2021-to date).

ASSADI Aymen (36 years old) has completed his PhD from Chemistry Engineer School ENSCR in Rennes, France. He joined ENSCR as associate professor in 2014. He obtained recently (June 2019) his Thesis Director Enabling Degree “HDR” (Reactor Design for Advanced Oxidation Processes – University of Rennes 1) in Process Engineering. His field of expertise concerns environmental engineering and especially the study of physical and chemical treatments in relation with traces compounds. His research focuses mainly on processes involving plasma and photocatalysis oxidation of micropollution and / or processes involving a transfer to a solid phase. With an h-index of 29 (https://scholar.google.fr/citations?user=j58vM0cAAAAJ&hl=fr), he published more than 85 A ranking publications, 2 patents. He is Editor to Elsevier Book on “air remediation” and has two book-chapters and presented numerous communications at international meetings (more than 70). Dr. Rafael Méndez is Professor of Physics at the National University of Mexico in the Instituto de Ciencias Físicas, Campus Morelos. He completed his Ph. D. at UNAM in Mexico City and obtained the Alfonso Caso Medal. He got the 2004 Research Award from the Metropolitan University in Mexico City. He is an expert in the fields of complex wave systems, and in phononic crystals. He has published 58 research papers with almost 600 citations. Dr. Méndez has organized 10 international scientific meetings in Mexico and has been an invited speaker in several congresses.

Dr. Sherwood received her doctoral degree in Management and Finance from Walden University and holds master’s degrees in Economics and Philosophy. She resides in Cheyenne, Wyoming where she teaches remotely and is a passionate and committed academic professional offering more than 20+ years of higher education experience coupled with an 18+ year history of online, blended, and on-ground teaching. Adept at integrating methods of differentiated teaching to accommodate a variety of learning styles and abilities. Solid background in teaching more than 7,000 students from different cultural, social, and economic backgrounds while overcoming language and cultural barriers. Dr. Sherwood’s research is focused on financial literacy across generations in which she has been a keynote speaker at an international conference in Venice, Italy. She is also active in the National Association of Business Economists.

Hassane Abouaïssa is an engineer in automatic control. He received a Master Research and a PhD from Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Belfort France and the HDR in Automation Control and Computer Sciences degree from University of Artois. His a head of the team group of “Oprimization and control” of the LGI2A. His has supervised several postgraduate students in the field of automation. His main research interests include automatic control, identification of nonlinear systems, and their applications to robotic, intelligent transportation systems and supply chains.

Prof. Xiaohui “Frank” Zhang received his doctorate in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Miami School of Medicine, and completed his postdoctoral training in biophysics at Harvard Medical School. He is currently a tenure associate professor and core member of the Department of Bioengineering at Lehigh University. Zhang’s research and teaching focus on the structural and biomechanical properties of proteins, protein engineering, viral entry, and biomaterials. His work has been published in over 70 research articles in journals such as Science, Nature, and Blood.

Dr Stephen Wilkinson is the Acting Associate Dean for Research and Head of the Smart and Sustainable Cities Research Centre at the University of Wollongong in Dubai. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, a Fellow of the Geological Society, a Fellow of the Royal Microscopical Society and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research primarily relates to novel and sustainable materials and processes which can support a developing society. The Smart and Sustainable Cities Research Cluster combines experts across Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, and Sustainable Finance. It has key areas of focus in Sustainable Materials, Digital Twins and BIM, Renewable Energy, and 3D Printing.

Dr. NIAMAT HUSSAIN received his Bachelors of electronic engineering from Dawood University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi and Master's degree in electrical and computer engineering from Ajou University, Korea, in 2017. In, 2020, he has done his Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from Chungbuk National University, Korea. He received the best paper award in 2017 for his paper presented at the Korea Winter Conference (KIEES). He is also the recipient of Outstanding Graduate Researcher Award and have authored/co-authored more than 50 international journal papers. He has been featured as top 2% World Scientists, ranked by Standord University in collaboration with Elsevier. Moreover, he is reviewer of many journals of IEEE, Elsevier, Wiley and MDPI. He is serving as guest editor in a special issue (Prospective Multiple Antenna Technologies for 5G and Beyond) in Electronics, MDPI . Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at Chungbuk National University. His research is mainly focused on metamaterial antennas, UWB antennas, mm-wave antennas, terahertz antennas, IoT antennas, wireless power transfer, and effects of electromagnetic effects on human health.

Dr Fangxin Fang is a senior research fellow at Imperial College, and executive manager of data assimilation laboratory at the Data Science Institute, Imperial. She leads the research on advanced computational tools and data science technologies that can help us to manage a safe, comfortable and healthy environment. She has over 25-year experience in data assimilation and mathematical modelling technologies. Her main original contributions center on cutting edge techniques of predictive modelling (machine learning, and data assimilation techniques, reduced order modelling, adaptive observation), where the work is at the forefront of data centric modelling. The applications are mainly focus ocean, atmospheric, multiphase flows and environmental problems. Fang and her group first applied deep learning techniques to real-time spatio-temporal prediction of nonlinear fluid flows. Applications of advanced data-centre modelling techniques will be renewable energy, weather prediction, pollution forecasting and coastal engineering.

Dr. Yasser Zedan graduated from Mansoura university, Egypt and subsequently obtained his MEng (thesis) at Mansoura University in Egypt (2002). In 2006, he went to University of Quebec, Canada for pursuing his PhD degree in project funded by GM studying the effect of Intermetallic and free cutting elements on the microstructure and machinability of new Al-Si cast alloys. In 2011 after completing his PhD, he moved to the University of McGill actively doing research on light metal and advanced magnesium materials. In 2013, he moved to Optimizing of Aerospace Manufacturing and Process laboratory at University of Quebec, Montreal up to present. In all these years, his areas of research broadly include fatigue performance of welded aluminum assemblies, forging alloy technology for automotive applications, metal processing and casting technology. Till date he has published around 50 papers (current h-index 11) in international peer reviewed journals which include International Journal of Fatigue, Journal of Material processing, Material & Design, Material Characterization, Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A, etc.

Juan José Encinas Cantaro, He was born in Lima, Peru. He is a Mechatronic Engineer. Session Chair and participant of the 4th North American Industrial Engineering and Operations Management Conference-IEOM 2019 in Toronto, Canada. He received a certificate for attendance and presentation at the 2nd International Conference on Automation Engineering and Intelligent Manufacturing-ICIMA 2018 in Penang, Malaysia. He participated in the X International Symposium on Innovation and Technology-ISIT 2019 in Cusco, Peru. Member of the steering and technical committee of the ISIT. He participated as part of the Peru Section of the IEEE in the XXVI International Congress of Electronics, Electricity, Engineering and Computing-INTERCON 2019 in Lima, Peru. He with experience in research, development and innovation in the fields of mechatronics, medical robotics, telemedicine, aerospace engineering and bioengineering. Researcher in programming by IPCEM agents. Lecturer and Consultant in Mechatronic, Spatial and Biomedical Technologies. He is also a consultant in information and communication technologies in the Peruvian government sector.

Yuri Feldman received the M.S. degree in radio physics and Ph.D. degree in molecular physics from the Kazan State University, Kazan, USSR, in 1973 and 1981, respectively. From 1973 to 1991, he was with the Laboratory of Molecular Biophysics, Kazan Institute of Biology, Academy of Science of the USSR. In 1991, he moved to The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, where he is currently a Full Professor and the Head of the Soft Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory. He has spent over 40 years in the field and has more than 400 scientific publications related to dielectric spectroscopy and its applications. He holds 15 patents in the areas of electromagnetic properties of the matter. In 1992 and 2010, the Israel Government acknowledged his work with an award for the outstanding contribution to the development of Israel Science; in 1998, he received the Kaye Award for the best innovation and invention. Feldman is a Director of the Centre for Electromagnetic Research and Characterization (CERC); he is a Member of the Boards of International Dielectric Society (IDS) and International Society for Electromagnetic Aquametry (ISEMA). His current interests include broadband dielectric spectroscopy in frequency and time domain; theory of dielectric polarization and relaxation; relaxation phenomena and strange kinetics in disordered materials; electromagnetic properties of biological systems in vitro and in vivo.

Dr. Berardi is Canada Research Chair in Building Science, Full Professor, and Director of the BeTOP center at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. His main research interests are related to the study of innovative solutions and new materials for improving the performance within the built environment. As a researcher, I specialize in the subject of Building Physics and have also conducted research in the subject of Building Services. I have investigated the practical and theoretical aspects of renovation measures for building technology (materials, constructions) and equipment for construction services, in Swedish buildings. My research has focused on the effects of such measures on the moisture safety and energy use in Swedish buildings and on the indoor environment. Dr. Shamshad Alam is an assistant professor in the department of civil engineering at Chandigarh University in India. He earned his Ph.D in geotechnical engineering from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India in 2019. He completed his M. Tech in 2014 from NIT Rourkela and B. Tech in 2010 from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. After his graduation in 2010, Dr. Alam started his career as a structural design engineer in Desein Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi and obtained two years of experience in the area of designing thermal power plant structures. He is having more than two years of post-Ph.D teaching and research experience. His research aims to reduce the industrial waste storage, thereby, reducing its adverse impact on the environment and the requirement of land for the storage. To achieve this aim, he is working in the direction of characterization (geotechnical, chemical, and microstructural) of industrial waste and development of sustainable civil engineering material from the same. During his Ph.D, he was working on the geotechnical characterization of red mud, (Bauxite residue) and published his research in high quality journals and reputed conferences. He has been awarded by IGS- Young Geotechnical Engineer Biennial Award in 2019 as well as in 2020 for his research work.

I am the founder and manager of Pouyesh private training institute in vehicle energy technologies as well as Faravar Sanat Royesh Co. in energy and a university lecturer in Iran. My background and interest is renewable energies such as production of new biodiesel fuels from agricultural waste and experimental and computational investigation of performance, emissions, and combustion of real diesel engines fueled with biodiesel. Production of the biodiesel fuels from agricultural waste reduces environmental pollution and converts them to a valuable product. Moreover, use of biodiesel in diesel engines, increases engines' efficiency and greatly reduces their pollution. In addition, by simulating fuel combustion and the engine combustion chamber, the efficiency of the engines can be increased or the fuel consumption and the amount of pollution production can be significantly reduced by the least changes in the design of the engine combustion chamber. The vehicle tests demonstrate that the use of biodiesel in the transportation sector can reduce the greenhouse gas emissions from the diesel vehicles

I am a professor in Computer Science at University of El Manar (Tunisia). I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Paris 6 in 1994. I have than 32 years of experience in teaching and researching in computer Science. For 6 years I was a professor at SQU as well, I was coordinator of the Smart City Research Group in Oman. Within Oman, with a number of companies, including OmanTel, GueTech and SQU, we created the first IoT laboratory in Oman. Outside Oman and Tunisia, I worked with Specialists Smart City and IEEE Smart Cities Initiative. Overall, I have worked with a range of government, intelligence and business organizations in a number of research groups and laboratories, including in the United Kingdom, the United States, France and Indonesia. I was designated “expert” of Smart City and IoT at the 2017 and 2019 Oman congresses on innovation and Smart City. Celso C. Ribeiro is a Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences and of the National Order of the Scientific Merit in Brazil. He is a Full Professor at the Department of Computer Science of Universidade Federal Fluminense, Brazil. He chaired the Departments of Electrical Engineering (1983-1987) and Computer Science (1993-1995) of the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was the Director of the Department of Modernization Programs of the Brazilian Ministry of Education (2005-2007) and acted as Subsecretary of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2007–2008). He obtained his doctorate in Computer Science at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, France, in 1983 and his Habilitation at Université Paris XIII, France, in 1990. He was a President of the Brazilian Operations Research Society (1989-1990), a President of the Latin-American Association of Operations Research Societies (1992-1994), and a Vice-President of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (1998-2000). His research is funded by the Brazilian Council of Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and by the Rio de Janeiro State Foundation for Research Support (FAPERJ). Navid Bayati was born in Arak, Iran, in 1992. He received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Arak University, Arak, Iran, in 2014. Also, he received the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, in 2017. Since 2019, he has been involved in research with Loughborough University, UK. He is graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from the Department of Energy Technology, Aalborg University, Denmark, in November 2020. Then, he was involved as a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southern Denmark, since March 2021, on the protection of Microgrids. Now Sonya is most loved creature. Professor Sapogin now lives in Moscow, Russia. He began in 1954 to study in Taganrog Radio-technical University and graduated (Dept. of solid state physics) in 1959. My training focuses on a degree in Nursing from the University of Córdoba (UCO) in July 2017, Master in Translational Biomedical Research with a score of 9.01 in July 2018, Master in PRL at the UCO in October 2019 with a 9.01 and extraordinary Master's award; and international doctoral thesis by a compendium of articles defended on December 10, 2019, at the University of Cordoba with the CUM LAUDE .Of the projects that I have participated in and grants/contracts enjoyed, various publications, participation in congresses, awards, and intellectual property records have been produced. I received a grant from the ministry of education in 6/17, framed in a local project that entailed a publication (Telematics & Informatics Q1 Elsevier), a monograph, an intellectual property, a conference presentation, and an international research award. Another publication (International Journal of Public Health and Environmental Research, Q1 / Q2 of 2020) has been framed in this line of ORP of biological accidents that began in 2016, which involved various communications in teaching congresses (INTED), a congress of the Young Researchers of the UCO and which is still ongoing after the defense of the thesis co-directed and defended in 2021.Another line of research focuses on the prevention and promotion of health and ICTs, which began with a UCO Researchers Seed Grant (10-month Internship contract in the Nursing Department). In this line and project, my thesis was framed, being funding by a local project and resulting in four publications from 2017-2020, a mobility grant, a stay of eight months (04-12 / 19) at the Usher Institute of the University of Edinburgh, a specialist in e-Health, and the first place for the award "María Zambrano: best gender perspective by". In addition, this line includes two book chapters (Elsevier 2021), a European Erasmus + project, another local project (2020), an agreement with a maximum duration of 4 years, interviews for the transfer of research, another ALL project without funding, communication to congresses and addresses. The current projects integrate VR and AI, especially data mining, in the healthcare sector, focusing on vulnerable groups, such as students with learning disabilities, homeless, or cognitive impairment older people. Currently, I have a position as lecturer in the Nursing, Pharmacology and Physiotherapy department and work with multiple research groups from Europe and South America.

Vimal Rau Aparow began his career at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2017 as a Postdotorate Researcher in Energy Research Institute@NTU (ERI@N) under project called CETRAN. In September 2018, he was appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Nottingham Malaysia. Then, he was appointed as the Director of Mechatronics in this department to lead teaching and research in the area of robotics and automation focusing IR 4.0. Dr. Jamshaid Ul Rahman Warraich earned his PhD in Computational Mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei China during 2017 to 2020 under the CAS TWAS President fellowship funded by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and The World Academy of Science (TWAS). He earned his MS in Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing from Air University Islamabad and BS (H) in Mathematics from GC University Faisalabad in the years 2011 and 2008 respectively. Well known professional, served as a faculty member at reputed universities including Lahore Garrison University Pakistan, Caledonian College of Engineering Muscat Oman and Balochistan UET Kuzdar Pakistan. Currently, He is serving at Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology Khuzdar Pakistan as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Ke Zhang is a research assistant professor in Helmholtz institute and Mainz university in Germany. She obtained his bachelor's degree (physics) in 2014 at Physics Base Class of Shanxi University in China, and completed her Ph.D. (condensed matter physics) in 2019 at Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics in China. Abdullah Saad AL-Malaise AL-Ghamdi is a Professor in Software and Systems Engineering, Information Systems Department, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, King Abdulaziz University (KAU), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from George Washington University, USA, in 2003. He is currently performing his duties as a Head of Consultants Unit to the Vice Chancellor for Development Office, KAU. Dr Alfrendo Satyanaga is currently an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University. He obtained his PhD degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and MSc degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Newcastle University, United Kingdom and BEng degree in Civil Engineering from Maranatha Christian University, Bandung, Indonesia. He has 25 years of working experience in consulting, teaching and research in civil engineering. He previously worked as postdoctoral Senior Research Fellow in School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanyang Technological University. He served as a consultant on various projects to several engineering firms in Singapore, Australia and Indonesia. He is a graduate member of Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) UK, Geotechnical Engineering Society of Singapore, member of Geotechnical Engineering of ISSMGE and Member of Geotechnical Engineering Society of Indonesia (HATTI). Dr Alfrendo has conducted extensive research on the application of the unsaturated soil mechanics to solve geotechnical problems. Dr Alfrendo’s recent research activities involved the development of new sustainable retaining structure, Geobarrier System (GBS) through laboratory and numerical analyses and instrumented systems in the field. For his great achievement, Minister for National Development’s Singapore has awarded MND (R&D) Awards 2017 (Special Mentioned Award) for Stability Assessment of slopes covered with Mangrove along Punggol Waterway using Unsaturated Soil Mechanics Principles. Dr Alfrendo has published over 100 technical publications. He has presented his research works in over several invited lectures and short courses in various countries. He co-authored the textbook “Unsaturated Soils Guidelines – Volume 1: Soil-Water Characteristic Curves for Materials Classified according to the Unified Soil Classification System”, by K. Mercer, H. Rahardjo and A. Satyanaga and published by Australian Center for Geomechanics, University of Western Australia in 2019. He has supervised 3 PhD students and 15 Master students and 50 undergraduate students to complete their final year project, who came from various countries.

Dr. M. A. Shah has doctorial degree in Condensed Matter Physics (Materials Science) and during his 20 years of academic career within India and outside, he is credited for many initiatives at NIT Srinagar. Professor Yakoubi Abdelkader is research professor at the University Djillali Liabes of Sidi Bel Abbes since 2002. My research has been the subject of international publications in leading scientific journals. I am director of a research laboratory in which I trained several PhD students. Dr. Uche Onyekpe is a Lecturer in Data Science at York St. John University, York, UK. Mostafa Abdollahi holds a B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and a M.Sc. degree in power system engineering respectively from the Universities of Shiraz and Isfahan, Iran. He then joined the Azad University (IAU), Hormozgan, Iran, first as lecturer in Power & Energy Systems, then he led the Electrical Engineering Department, the Education & Student Office and the Research and Technology Office, respectively. Also, he worked as Project Manager and Research Assistance. He joined to Research Center on Renewable Electrical Energy Systems at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain as a Ph.D. student in 2015. He worked on projects aiming to improve the stability of transmission systems using renewables. From 2018 to 2019, he was Research Assistant at the University of Florence and ENEGAN Company in Italy. He worked on Smart Energy Management System for Smart Renewable Clients (E-CUBE). He has joined Advisory team of ENGIE Impact as Power System Consultant in Belgium.

The scientific research related to Radiation Physics and Nuclear Physics using gamma spectroscopy and alpha Spectroscopy. Combining Nuclear Resonance Fluorescence (NRF) with the Computed Tomography (CT).

Mr. Suresh Aluvihara is a postgraduate research scholar at the Department of Chemical and Process Engineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka that related with the disciplines of Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Engineering and Water Engineering. He received his B.Sc. (Hon’s) degree from a government university in Sri Lanka in the year 2017 with the scopes of Earth and Mineral Resources. Since his university research works he has achieved some valuable research publications that associate with much recognized research symposiums, conferences and journals in the forms of abstracts, conference papers for proceedings and full research papers Among his recent academic publications, he has achieved some advanced scientific research papers that related with the catalytic applications and developments of some earth materials such as the clay types, dolomite and feldspar for some advanced chemical processes such as the adsorption. In his contribution of scientific activities, he has participated in some recognized research conferences as a keynote speaker, featured speaker and invited speaker under the scopes of Chemical and Catalytic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Material Engineering and Environmental Engineering around the world. According to his other academic works, he has gained much valuable experiences in the reviewing of both science and engineering research papers that associate with some high indexed journals and he is having a few of memberships in recognized research associations in the world. Based upon his research experiences and valuable research publications, he has received some opportunities to join with some editorial boards and organizing committees as a member in a few of world recognized journals and outstanding international research conferences and symposiums.
